I can't speak for Hydor Italy as I have no experience with them, BUT I have been in contact with Hydor USA and let me tell you, it has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any company. Usually, companies try to work with their customers especially if there is a known defect. Most companies will apologize and then work hard to make things right. Hydor USA instead has adopted the philosophy that the best defense is a good offense and are very aggressive towards customers with a product issue. I've had nothing but problems with Hydor USA and would recommend against purchasing any Hydor products especially since companies like EcoTech and Red Sea have such a stellar customer service record which also lends itself to strong resale values and customer satisfaction years after purchase. Say it with me, "Hydor no more!"
