diaphragm pump question
does it back syphon? or is it just like the aqualifter

It can back siphon (just like an aqualifter
 ) so we include a tee to make a siphon break and a check valve if needed. You can also simply put the output above the water line and this solves the issue as well.

....but yes, if you put that blue line above the water level in your sump, it will prevent back siphon.
