Feed Fish to Feed Corals?

I've noticed that my colors are a little pale compared to how some of my pieces looked before I swapped tanks a little over a year ago. I'm running the same skimmer, have about the same amount of livestock, and my parameters are good, and have been pretty stable. The only think that I know for certain that I've changed with regard to husbandry is my feeding frequency. I used to feed every day, and now I feed every 2-4 days. The fish don't mind, and I feel that my nitrates are a little better off for it, but I'm wondering if the reduction in fish poop is bleaching my corals? The only thing I feed specifically for the corals is some phytoplex once or twice a week.

Should I be looking at something else, or could a lack of fish waste or other food sources for the corals be causing the pale colors?

Before anyone even mentions it, I'm definitely not overskimming as my CS6-1 is pretty anemic as far as skimmers go.

I'd love any suggestions.

Chris

I wouldnt think the reduction in fish waste would not be bleaching the corals.
In my experience the corals responded well from the kents purple bottle stuff. And I have been feeding my corals with coral frenzy, which seems to help, or dts in the past, but that stinks, so i went the powder frenzy route.
