Wiring Adapter for Reef Optix III
I recently just purchased a new reflector and it has this funky plug on it. The wires coming out of my ballast have been cut has you can see. The main thing I would like help with is what the plug is called or type? Once I know that, I'm sure I can find the adapter. I have seen adapter's called BAASR, BAASP, Hydrofarm, Sunlight, just not sure which one I need. I don't care about if it has the the plug on both ends, I'll cut the one off that I don't need and wire it directly into the ballast.

I believe that's the Sunlight adapter. I have an ROIII+ and it has the same adapter on the end. The ROIII+ is made by Sunlight Supply. If you can find the Sunlight adapter just use that. If not, just hardwire directly to the ballast but keep in mind if you need to move the pendant you will need to bring the ballast with you if it's hardwired.

This is the adapter you are looking for
http://premiumaquatics.com/aquatic-s...s/SL-BFEM.html or you could cut the end off and wire directly to the ballast. |
