To All around North Louisiana. We are having a Meet and Frag Swap.

Date: Saturday, May 25th
Time: 2-4pm
Place: Jason's Deli
5808 Line Ave
Shreveport, LA 71106

If you have frags you would line to sell or trade, please bring them with you. You can also post pics of them on this thread to gauge interest.there will be a frag tank if needed.

No one is required to eat. Bring family and have a good time.

I spoke to Ramond at Pet Zone today and he said you were organizing with a south Louisiana club. Do you have any vendors or speakers?

I told hm LARC which has most of the meets down south. We were going to hold some meetings up here. He is going to donate something. I have already talked to all the lfs in shreveport/bossier.

I know those two, just thought you were mentioning one that was specifically focused on southern Louisiana, both have members from all over.

Hey I just stumbled on this, I didn't know there were stores in Shreveport. I currently live in Monroe for school but I'm from Lafayette! I'm actually going to be there in Shreveport but for a wedding. Sucks ill miss this. Hopefully it'll happen more often though!

Hey - I'm in Monroe too....

I'm actually selling off my 75g mixed reef. I have a bunch of corals that I need to sell, as well as a bunch of equipment. I have everything from auto top off systems to a reef octopus calcium reactor and a reef octopus XS160 protein skimmer all for sale. The drilled tank and stand is also for sale.

Anyways,... Just trying to get it gone. I love the hobby but I can't afford it at the level that I would be happy with my tank.

There is 3 stores in Shreveport and one in bossier city.

no kidding. i have a pick up with ups and fedex, both, today. ups is chilling at their site... and from the site that i'm supposed to pick up from - fedex' online status says it's out for delivery. i'm hoping that means they moved it from the warehouse to 100 feet forward and it's in the front office.

If ya'll ever get another swap going on a day I could make it I'd definately be willing to sell/swap some stuff. It's an hour and a half away but we have 0 LFS and I have a few frag tanks of SPS, don't know if anyone down there are SPS keepers.

Ill buy sps high end low end looking for colonies but high end frags work also looking for a controller dosing pumps and skimmer 200+gallons

The meet and frag swap went very well. We had about 25 people show up. Everyone left with something.everyone is wanting to keep this going. Looks like a club will be forming. Plans are already in process for the next one. Looking for more folks to come.
