Have you seen a six line wrasse this fat?
I am just wondering if anyone has seen a six line wrasse this fat. It is about 3 years old and tanked with clownfishes and randalls goby. So he is basically the king of the tank. I have seen it this fat for 5-6 weeks now so just wondering. I don't think it has babies and don't even know if they can be hermaphrodite.

You must have a healthy pod population for it to be that fat!

I had a Kole Tang years ago that got unnaturally fat like that. It died. No idea what it was, but if I had to guess, I'd say tumor.

I was beginning to think it is some kind of disease as well. It is a little unnatural.

Sometimes bacterial infections can cause swelling. I treated a fish with swollen sides with an antibiotic and the swelling went away.
If it is a tumor all you can do is hope that it is benign. Good luck. Myles

I had a clown fish live with with a tumor for many years. And my fish with the swollen abdomen that responded to antibiotics lived with the swelling for about 3 years before I treated him.
If your fish is eating and otherwise behaving normally I wouldn't be too alarmed. Myles
